Calf implant
Introduction
The calf implant seeks to increase the volume and improve the contour of the posterior part of the leg through the placement of a prosthesis.
Procedure
The procedure consists of introducing the prosthesis through an incision of
approximately 5 cm below the knee, creating a pocket between the fascia and the muscle
for its correct placement.
Recovery
During recovery, the use of compressive bandages is necessary for around two
weeks to control inflammation.
Absolute rest is recommended for the first two days,
with the legs elevated and avoiding efforts that compromise the calves.
