    Introduction

Liposuction and liposculpture are complementary procedures, but with distinct objectives. Liposuction removes excess localized fat in areas such as abdomen, hips, arms, back and face by suction through small cannulas. On the other hand, liposculpture focuses on sculpting and contouring the body, redistributing fat to achieve a more harmonious figure.

The ideal candidates are healthy patients with fat deposits resistant to diet and exercise.

Liposuction has advanced notably thanks to technologies such as ultrasound- assisted liposuction (UAL), laser (LAL), power (PAL) and radiofrequency, which improve results, increase safety and shorten recovery.

    Procedure

The procedure is performed through small incisions of 2 to 3 mm, through which the cannulas are introduced to extract the fat. It can be combined with other body or breast procedures according to the patient's needs.

    Recovery

The definitive results are usually observed weeks or months after surgery. It is essential to maintain a healthy lifestyle, with a balanced diet and regular exercise. In addition, post-operative therapies guided by our medical team are key to an optimal and safe recovery.
