    Arm Surgery (Brachioplasty)

    Introduction
Brachioplasty improves the appearance of the arms by removing excess skin and fat between the armpit and the elbow.

    Types of Brachioplasty
Simple Brachioplasty: For younger patients with minimal inner arm laxity, performed under local anesthesia with nearly invisible scars.

Extended Axillary and Thoracic Brachioplasty: For older patients with “pendulous arms,” extending to the thoracic and submammary areas, using a T-shaped incision with internal scars.

    Recovery
The recovery process generally ranges from 14 to 21 days. The scar is located on the inner side of the arm.
