He then pursued a subspecialty in plastic, aesthetic, and reconstructive surgery at the Jalisco Institute of Reconstructive Surgery “Dr. José Guerrerosantos” in Guadalajara, Jalisco, Mexico, one of the most prestigious and recognized institutions worldwide. He is currently an active member of the Mexican Association of Plastic, Aesthetic, and Reconstructive Surgery (AMCPER), the International Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery (ISAPS), and is certified by the Mexican Board of Plastic, Aesthetic, and Reconstructive Surgery (CMCPER).

Dr. Luis Francisco Montaño is a plastic, aesthetic, and reconstructive surgeon who graduated from the Plastic Surgery School of the Jalisco Institute of Reconstructive Surgery Dr. José Guerrerosantos in Guadalajara, earning his degree from the prestigious University of Guadalajara in Jalisco, Mexico. He completed his general surgery training at Dr. Luis E. Aybar Hospital in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic, an institution affiliated with the Autonomous University of Santo Domingo. He graduated with honors from the Faculty of Medicine at the Central University of the East in the Dominican Republic.
